Madame Sabayon de Scott Born- 20th March 2005
Name meaning- 'Sabayon' is the name of a warrior character I used in a story. 'Scott' after one of my best friends, Scott. ( =
JumpingPeanuts )
Nicknames- Sabe, Sabs, Sabikins, Sabby, Fuzzy Monkey, Demon Fuzz.
Colour/Markings- Black hooded, with one rex gene so her fur is slightly rippled.
Health- Good.
Bio- I got Sabe on June 6th 2005. She'd been flown up from her breeder
(Julie of the Mad Ratter Rattery) along with four of her siblings. I then picked her up from
Karen of Royaloaks Rattery who'd picked the bubs up from the airport. I fell in love with Sabe the moment I saw her picture on The Mad Ratter's website, and when I met her for the first time she was such an inquisitive little darling I knew she had me in her cute-clutches. So she came home to meet her new cagemate Ella. They rolled around and wrestled, but quickly settled down and snoozed in their hammock together. The one thing about her is that she's so big for her age! Apparently Julie's rats are always monster-sized, so she was Ella's size when they met, which is perfect.
Personality- Sabs is a complete mad thing. She's hard to keep a grip on, because she's an inquisitive, hyperactive little one. She's highly loveable though, so it's impossible to stay mad at that fuzzy face. She bullies Ella a bit, so it's obvious who wears the pants in the ratlet cage. Now she's grown up a bit she hasn't changed... She's still an active, inquisitive fuzzball. She's everything a girl rat should be.
Fond memories- Meeting Sabs for the first time, she jumped on my hand and ran up my arm like she knew it was meant to be.
I take the ratlets into the bathroom when I have a shower so they can have a play. Sabs is a really good climber, and she soon climbed up the side of the dirty washing basket. When I looked over, she was sitting on the end of the towel rack watching me wash my hair through the glass.
She got out once, and I didn't find her for hours. When I eventually did find her, she was curled up in a feather boa asleep. When I held my hand out and called, she came straight to me. She nearly gave me a heart attack, but I was so glad to find her I couldn't stay mad.
She plays with me... Wrestles my hand, chases it. I have one bookmark, made of kangaroo leather, that she loves. She chases it around and plays tug-o-war with it, or tries to steal it from me. She's very playful.
